The Kletke's go to Florida!

This is Avery & Matthew at Clearwater Beach. We stopped here on the way to the airport. It was the first time the kids have ever seen the ocean/beach. Unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time to spend and play and it was really windy and cold that day.

We took the family to Florida to visit Nana and Dean in February.

It was a great trip! The temps. were in the 70's and 80's, it was just beautiful!

We drove about an hour to Disney World one day and spent 10 hours there. The kids were so excited.

We were thankful we had Nana to give us a guided tour of the park.

The kids really enjoyed riding everywhere on golf carts at The Villages. Most nights we went down to the town square and listened to live music and watched the kids dance.

Matthew's 5th Birthday!

Matthew had a Superman Party to celebrate his 5th Birthday. His Great Granny Kimball made him a satin Superman cape to wear.

The January Birthday boys! Matthew chose Spaghetti Warehouse for his birthday dinner on Wednesday. We then came home and celebrated with presents and the strawberry cake he and Daddy requested. Yum!

Avery's First Basketball Game!

Avery is playing in the Upward Basketball League at our church this year. Her team is the Lady Bears K-3. She plays a one hour game each Saturday from January thru the end of February.

Marc is the coach of Avery's team this year! Avery enjoys calling her Daddy "Coach Daddy"!

Maci is crawling!!!!

SHE'S CRAWLING!!!!!

Maci began crawling on Sunday, Dec. 9th. Just 2 days after turning 7 months old! Marc and I were not exactly ready for this yet, we thought we had another month before she was mobile!

Maci loves chasing after Avery and Matthew now and is pulling up on everything she can. She turned 8 months old on January 7th.

Sunday, Dec. 16th Avery in the Church Christmas Program

Avery performed Sunday evening in our church's Christmas program "The Legend of the Christmas King". She played a poor peasant girl and sang a solo! We were so proud of her!

Avery said she just pretended she was singing for her Mommy and Daddy instead of a crowded church! A great time was had by all!

It is such a blessing to see Christmas through a child's eyes, all the excitement and wonder of the season. Of course, they have the "I wannas", but Marc and I are teaching them about giving to others and being thankful for our blessings and the most important reason, Jesus' birth.

Maci is sitting up!

Maci began sitting up on Thanksgiving Day at Grammy Meg's and Papa Darrel's house. She was 6 months and 2 weeks old.

She is enjoying being able to sit up in the bathtub and really enjoys "eating" her washcloth!
